Apr. 21st, 2025 07:20 pmthey/them, 21. urban cryptid. occasional transgender. your source of mad what-if fanfic (and original story) content. i'm an author, sometime sketch artist, occasional poet, and digital photographer. i'm a sucker for a romance plot, i love things with magic and things with sci-fi (or even better, things with both) but not so much dystopia. i am seriously obsessed with genderbending characters, and also sjm fix-its. my chapters are too short and my word counts are too long.
i wrote an original space opera novella about a year back called these savage stars that you can find on ao3, i'll add a link to character bios and some stuff like that when i've imported it here from elsewhere.
i don't grant access on my journal because i don't lock anything so there's nothing to grant access *to.* i swear a lot, and i enjoy neither discourse nor puritanism. if i occasionally seem overly serious or intense, don't mind me: i just do be like that sometimes :)

Apr. 21st, 2025 07:08 pmAs you've probably noticed I've been slowly customizing the theme of my journal more and more over the last couple of days. I needed to set up something quick because a) I came here from tumblr so I'm used to the "make sure you at least have a profile pic and some small customization so you don't look like a bot" and b) because i found the "default" style kinda ugly to be honest with y'all. Then I could start messing with it and mess I have. I think I've got something I like right now, though I'm still waffling back and forth between this and the "Persephone" theme for the same base layout. I feel like "Persephone" better depicts the gothy, edgy, still-in-my-teen-goth-phase side of my personality, while this better depicts the dark academia-ish, would-love-to-be-a-cozy-mystery-protagonist side. Idk. I may just allow myself to be indecisive and flip back and forth between the two.

i made these in ~50 minutes yesterday according to time stamps on my texts and camera roll, out of spite and desperation because my arms would not stop being in sensory hell for some reason. currently debating whether and how to clean them up and make them look nice.
