sirius' middle name
Jan. 20th, 2025 06:06 pm So I know fanon has collectively decided that sirius' middle name is orion because it makes more sense but my headcanon is that he refuses to use that name and that's where Sirius Lee black comes from.
I like to imagine it started as a joke. Whenever someone said something like "Seriously, Black?" he'd say "how do you know my middle name" or "how dare you middle name me". And then ofc the marauders would catch on and perpetuate the joke. Then Sirius would start signing his name 'Sirius L Black' and it would just become accepted that it's the only middle name he'll go by.
